Staff Representative: Building Official

Meetings: Meetings are held as necessary at the request of staff.

Desirable Qualifications: The Board shall consist of three (3) members with experience in the field of architecture, civil engineering or building contracting and the Building Official who shall be an ex officio member and shall act as secretary to said board but shall have no vote upon any matter before the board.

General Duties: To hear and decide appeals of orders, decisions or determinations made by the Building Official relative to the application and interpretations of the Uniform Building Codes and the Uniform Housing Code as necessary.

Terms: Two and one-half years.
