The Metro Cities Fire Authority Communications Center serves the citizens of seven cities: Anaheim, Fountain Valley, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, and Orange. The Center, commonly referred to as Metro Net, dispatches fire and emergency medical services for more than 1.2 million citizens, covering 188 square miles within Orange County.

The Communications Center (Metro Net) is centrally located in a modern 6,000 square foot facility in the City of Anaheim. The Metro Net facility is equipped with the latest technology in telephone, radio, and computer equipment to assist the dispatcher in quickly processing the citizens' call for assistance.
