Instructions for PCs

1. Download & install Microsoft Silverlight.
   NOTE: This step is only necessary for PCs running on Microsoft Windows. Owners of other devices may skip this step;
2. Download, install and register with the eReader Blio.
3. Register with Axis 360, then access books and begin reading!

1. Go to http://www.microsoft.com/silverlight/
2. Click on either of the “Download Now” buttons
   
   
3. Follow the instructions to run and install Microsoft Silverlight

Downloading and Installing Blio eReader and creating an account

1. Go to http://opl.axis360.baker-taylor.com/ and click on the "App Zone" tab near the top of the page. 
   
   
2. Scroll down to the Blio section of the page and click on appropriate application for your personal device to download Blio.
   
    
3. Click on Install if the box below appears. If this box does not appear, skip to step 4.
   
   
4. Click Run.  Wait for Blio to download. 
5. Click Run again if you are asked if you want to run this software.
6. Click Next.
7. Click Finish.
8. Open Blio. On Windows PC’s this will be a desktop shortcut.
   
     
9. Click on "Sign In" or click on "Create an Account" if you do not already have a Blio account.
   
   
10. If you need to create a new Blio account, type your email address and type your password twice before clicking Create an Account.
    
    

Logging in to Axis360

1. Go to the e-Book home page at: http://opl.axis360.baker-taylor.com
2. Click on the “Login” link in the upper right corner of the screen.
   
   
3. Next, enter your library card number (no spaces) and your PIN (birthday) in the format MMDDYYYY.
   
   
4. Finally, click on the Login button. You are now logged in and ready to select e-books!
   
   Note: If you are unable to login, the following issues may be the cause:
   
   --> Your library card account may be expired.  For further assistance, please call 714-288-2410 during regular business hours
   and a library staff member will assist you.
   --> There may be a temporary technical difficulty on the website.  Please try again again after waiting an hour.  If the problem continues, call the library using the contact information above.
