City Clerk


We are the Custodian of Records and the City's Election Official for all general municipal and special elections.


  • Accurately record the actions and proceedings of City Council meetings.
  • Administer the City's Records Management Program.
  • Maintain the City's Municipal Code.
  • Provide research and information services.
  • Maintain a current directory of City boards, commissions and committees, their vacancies, and regular meeting dates.
  • Agendas and Minutes: A complete City Council agenda packet is available for review on the Thursday prior to the Council meeting in the City Clerk's Office, after 4 pm, and here: City Council Agendas.
  • Administer regulations relating to the Fair Political Practices Commission.

    Statement of Economic Interests - Form 700
    The Orange City Councilmembers and City Treasurer are elected officers identified in Government Code Section 87200 and file statements of economic interests with the City Clerk's Office. Copies of the statements of economic interests filed by the below elected officers may be obtained by visiting the City of Orange City Clerk's Office located at 300 E. Chapman Avenue, Orange CA  92866; or the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC), 428 J Street, Suite 620, Sacramento CA 95814. The statements of economic interests for some state and local government agency elected officers may be available in electronic format on the FPPC's website at
