Special Events

Based on the State’s “move Beyond the Blueprint” announcement on April 6, 2021 (https://www.gov.ca.gov/2021/04/06/governor-newsom-outlines-the-states-next-step-in-the-covid-19-pandemic-recovery-moving-beyond-the-blueprint/), we are planning to once again have in-person city-wide special events starting with our beloved 3rd of July Celebration and Concert in the Park series. We are closely monitoring the California Department of Health’s (CDPH) guidelines and re-evaluating the status of our events as they change. Please continue to check this page or follow Orange Recreation social media outlets for status updates and details.

City-wide special events will adhere to current CDPH safety guidelines and are subject to change and/or cancellation.

Concerts at the Park: Grab your blanket and picnic basket, and join us for a free summer concert series under the stars. Each week features a new band and different genre of music. This free, family-friendly event is open to the general public.

3rd of July: The Celebration features live music, children’s activities, games, community food booths, and an authentic hometown carnival atmosphere.  When the sun sets, our grand finale begins with a performance by the Orange Community Master Chorale, and climaxes with a patriotic fireworks salute to America.

With several partnership levels to choose from, this is an ideal marketing opportunity to create lasting relationships in Orange. Through the generous contributions from companies and individuals such as yourself, the City is able to continue to offer quality community events.
