We would like to invite everyone to come out to either Hart Park or Grijalva Park on Saturday, September 21, 2019 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for the 23rd Annual Inner-Coastal and Watershed Clean-up Day which helps keep the Santiago Creek clean and beautiful. It's important the Santiago Creek remain clear of waste paper, used water bottles, and other discarded items because this creek that runs through the heart of Orange feeds the underground aquifers that provide 75% of our City's water supply and provides a natural refuge to birds and other animals.
Volunteers should bring a hat, sunscreen, water, work gloves, and wear closed toe shoes. For more information on how you can volunteer, visit www.coastkeeper.org/ccd or call the Santiago Creek Greenway Alliance at (714) 997-8886.
Field of Valor
The Orange Field of Valor is a patriotic tribute honoring all Veterans and Active Duty Military personnel for their dedication and service to our nation, preserving our security, our independence, and our freedom. More than a thousand Flags are proudly displayed on Veteran's Day, each dedicated in honor of a friend or family member. This event is organized by the Community Foundation of Orange.
Orange International Street Fair
Since 1973, Orange has been home to the Orange International Street Fair (OISF). OISF is a diversified event that traditionally takes place Labor Day weekend. Though OISF, Inc. continues to partner with the City of Orange for support services, OISF, Inc. is solely responsible for the management and financial aspects of the event.
If you are a vendor/entertainer looking to participate or would like more information about this event, please visit the OISF website www.orangestreetfair.org.
This unique neighborhood event celebrates Orange’s agricultural history, brings neighbors together and of course, features locally grown persimmons of all shapes and size. Proceeds from this event benefits the charming Pitcher Park, located at 204 S. Cambridge Ave., Orange, 92866.
This year’s Persimmons Party will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2019 from 12 noon – 3 p.m
