Criteria
To qualify, honorees must meet the following criteria:
- Active duty member of the United States armed forces; and
- Current City of Orange resident; or
-
Immediate family member of a current Orange resident (immediate family is: wife or husband, son or daughter, grandson or granddaughter, son-in-law or daughter-in-law)
Process
Military Banner Program Applications (PDF) will be accepted on an on-going basis. Production of the banner is supported by donations. Applications that are accompanied by a banner donation of $120 will be produced and installed at the next installation date in the order the application was received. All other banners will be produced and installed at the next installation date provided there are sufficient funds in the donation account.

Installation
Location of the banner is at the City's discretion. Banners are installed twice a year in May and November. Banners remain up for a minimum of one year and will be replaced should it become damaged during that time. Banners are presented to the applicant once they have been removed.
