The 2020 Census: Be Counted

Have you submitted your 2020 Census? If not, you can still participate online through October 31. Just go to, and follow the instructions.

Also, beginning in August, authorized Census takers will begin visiting homes that have not responded, to help make sure that everyone is counted.

The Constitutionally-mandated 2020 Census is a survey of our Country’s residents that is conducted every 10 years. It helps ensure that we receive fair elected representation at the Federal, State, and regional levels. Census data is also used to determine the National allocation of more than $675 billion in Federal funding for education, transportation, commerce, and other vital functions. On the local level, Census data is also critical to our City’s understanding of the population we serve, and to managing our growth and housing needs.
