Located inside Irvine Park, the zoo houses 130 birds and animals native to the southwestern United States. Wildlife includes coyotes, deer, a mountain lion, and the famous Sampson – the hot tub bear. In the petting zoo, children can feed cows, goats, sheep, and other barnyard animals.
