The goal of Ukes for Everyone! is to make ukuleles accessible to more people by expanding our existing ukulele-lending program. This federally funded project also allows us to provide virtual guided instruction. Patrons age eighteen and older and in possession of an Orange Public Library card may sign up.

Join us for a Booktalk! meeting on April 20 from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. Our April Booktalk! discussion theme will focus on your favorite published poetry. It can be poetry you’re currently reading or read recently. Share a brief summary about your selected title(s).

The child who submits the winning name will receive a special prize. Prize must be picked up at the Orange Public Library & History Center.

Drop by the Children’s Library at the Orange Public Library & History Center between Monday, April 12, and Friday, April 23, and pick up a Take & Make craft bag containing supplies for two crafts! Instructions will be provided within the Take and Make craft bags. For ages 5-12 while supplies last. Child must be present to receive craft bag.

Children will get a chance to learn financial responsibility and express their creativity through this fun interactive activity! Each participating child will be given a set amount of play money and tasked with "purchasing” the supplies to decorate their own piggy bank. Items will have varying “prices,” and children must learn how to properly budget their money or make financial compromises to execute their artistic visions! Ages 3 to 6 years old.

Children, stop by the El Modena Branch Library for a special Take & Make craft kit and select a free book. Children, ages 5-12, must be present to receive craft kit and free book while supplies last.

For library services, please visit the Orange Public Library & History Center, open Monday - Saturday from 10 am - 5 pm.
