Street Sweeping Schedule

If street sweeping is postponed due to a holiday or other event—such as inclement weather—the street will be swept the following week. Streets are not swept on the following City-observed holidays:

New Year’s Day - January 1
Memorial Day - Last Monday in May
Independence Day - July 4
Labor Day - 1st Monday in September
Thanksgiving - 4th Thursday in November
Christmas Day - December 25

Street Tree Program

The City of Orange offers a free Street Tree Planting Program to beautify neighborhoods and enhance environmental health.

The program includes an assessment, selection from various tree species, and planting by a city contractor. Eligible parkways must be at least 3 feet wide and owners must water the new trees. For tree planting on your parkway, call the Tree Services Coordinator at 714-532-6480.
