Boards, Commissions, and Committees
The Orange City Council encourages residents to become involved in the community. One way to do so is to serve in an advisory capacity on one of the City's various boards, commissions, and committees. Below is a summary of the various boards, commissions, and committees including duties, qualifications, and requirements. Residents of Orange who are interested in volunteering can apply at any time. Applications are accepted on an on-going basis and are kept active for a two-year period.
All Boards, Commissions, and Committees are subject to the regulations of the Ralph M. Brown Act.
In compliance with the requirements of Government Code Section 54972 (Maddy Act), the following appointment list of the City of Orange's Boards, Commissions, and Committees is posted on an annual basis by December 31. We encourage residents to apply for positions in an effort to build an applicant pool representative of the entire community. The names on this list are subject to change based on resignations or terminations that occur during the year.
If you have any questions, please contact the City Clerk's Office at (714) 744-5500.
Notice of Vacancies are posted on the City's website, at City Hall and the Main Library.
